Good counsel is more than just legal advice. It comes from an understanding of both the law and
your specific situation. How they come together and affect each other is crucial to the end result.
Our Approach
It's personal. Whatever your legal problem, if nothing else, it's personal. It involves you; it affects your life; it consumes your time, energy and money. Therefore, our approach is personal as well. We get to know all of the factors involved and how they interact. Our exact tactics will differ from case to case, depending on what is best for the specific situation, but certain key principles always apply:
- Thinking Ahead
Why? Focusing on a specific objective leads to better results. A scatter-shot approach wastes time and legal fees. Too many lawyers don't start thinking about the true issues until preparing for trial (or sometimes after they lose at trial). We help clients identify the best outcome and find the best, most efficient, way to get there. The objective is always clearly in sight, and decisions are made with that specific end goal in mind.
- Customized Solutions
No two cases are the same, so why do lawyers litigate them according to a formula? We do not take a cookie-cutter approach to our clients' problems or cases. The details matter. They make the difference. Some folks pursue every possible claim or defense, in every case. Experience proves that is not effective. We will not pursue claims without merit, and we will not file unnecessary motions just to show you or your adversary how tough we are.
- Straight Talk
Your lawyer doesn't have to always talk like one. We will explain every option in plain English. Also, if you come to us with a frivolous case (or have a good case and want to take an inefficient approach), we will be sure to tell you.
- Fast Action
A quick response to problems saves time and money all around. Plus, a swift resolution means you get to focus on your life, not on your legal problems. Fees are closely managed, kept to a necessary minimum, and there are no surprises.
